Instead, staying true to the genre-bending spirit that she’s always had, Furtado’s lucky seventh studio album finds her linking up with some unexpected up-and-comers, continuing to explore her ties to the Latin and hip-hop worlds, and letting her timelessly distinctive vocal tone soar. Not to mention a couple pure-pop bangers for the workout playlist.
