From his early folk beginnings right up to his epic swan song that is Blackstar, David Bowie was constantly reinventing himself throughout his career, always moving forward and creating. It’s through this practice of evolution that Bowie was uniquely himself. An otherworldly individual, Bowie was a prolific artist who has left us with an extensive catalogue of music and films.
In celebration of his 75th birthday, RANGE invited some of our favourite emerging artists to share their interpretations of some of his most iconic songs. Each artist has also written an essay reflecting on the impact Bowie had on their lives as artists and the world at large. Through this practice, we have come to truly appreciate that Bowie is forever.
