The Toronto-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist rose to prominence during the pandemic for her home jam sessions that became the Jams EP in 2021. She even found herself on the cover of RANGE in 2022. Her latest record is more evolved. Canada’s dream pop princess returns with a sonic shift, featuring heavier drums and synths.
Luna Li’s regretful lyrics are an excellent match for her most impressive vocal performances to date. In her own words, “When a Thought Grows Wings is about taking life into your own hands; allowing little thoughts and desires to bloom into real and tangible action.”
