But Verbathim reveals an artist with so much more to give, with insightful, grounded ballads fuelled by lyrics reminiscent of early Lorde, and a creative vision that draws to mind Feist and other queens of Canadiana. She draws listeners deeper into her interior world — every quirk, ambition, and contradiction. It’s so much more than the sum of its parts.
